Example - 8mm Saddle - 8.5mm in length at the wearable area (the seat of the plug), 6.5mm wide at the wearable area. This is an intentional aspect of the design, as this style of saddle plug should not be tight in the ear. I still recommend you order the size you usually wear, unless you want a very tight fit. Sizing up would mean the wearable area is larger than your piercing is stretched too.
